It is with a heavy heart that after years og being a premier Yamaha dealer, Peter Hammond Motorcycles has decided that we are no longer continuing as a Yamaha main dealer. We will however continue as an independent Yamaha specialist, concentrating on the vast back catalogue of bikes that we have been looking after for so many years as well as supplying quality approved used motorcycles.

The WR250F features a cutting-edge cylinder head with a wide intake port and high-performance camshaft with a low-friction cam chain for rapid mid-to-top power while retaining strong corner-exit torque. An optimised bilateral-beam frame, developed from the YZ250F motocross bike, has been tuned to excel in enduro environments and offers the perfect balance of rigidity for precise feel in all conditions.

The WR250F’s suspension features optimised spring rates and damping characteristics that deliver outstanding cornering performance. The flat seat features a new grippier textured surface to give the rider maximum control, while the lightweight rear wheel with a 3-cross spoke hub and 22mm rear axle raises rider feedback to the next level.
