It is with a heavy heart that after years og being a premier Yamaha dealer, Peter Hammond Motorcycles has decided that we are no longer continuing as a Yamaha main dealer. We will however continue as an independent Yamaha specialist, concentrating on the vast back catalogue of bikes that we have been looking after for so many years as well as supplying quality approved used motorcycles.

The WR450F features a host of engine revisions designed specifically for enduro riding to produce predictable, controllable power while optimising low-end grunt, without losing its strong linear performance. The improved engine control and 5-speed wide ratio transmission deliver increased performance and traction over a wide speed range, while the Power Tuner app makes it easier to select the right mapping for total control in widely varying track and weather conditions.

Equipped with a lightweight aluminium chassis, the WR450F feels more compact and agile than ever. The frame has been redesigned to enhance response and controllability, with a thickened upper section, narrower bottom section and asymmetric engine mounts specifically for enduro performance. The latest KYB suspension works in harmony with the new chassis design, with an increased spring rate and oil level giving you better feeling, with precise damping and minimum weight transfer.
