It is with a heavy heart that after years og being a premier Yamaha dealer, Peter Hammond Motorcycles has decided that we are no longer continuing as a Yamaha main dealer. We will however continue as an independent Yamaha specialist, concentrating on the vast back catalogue of bikes that we have been looking after for so many years as well as supplying quality approved used motorcycles.

The WR450F gives you a whole new level of control for ultimate performance on all types of fast, slippery and technical terrain. Equipped with Yamaha’s potent next generation 450cc engine and running with a compact new aluminium chassis – both developed directly from the latest MXGP race-winning YZ450F – the all-new WR450F puts you in charge.

Producing higher levels of strong and linear power, the 450cc reverse-head engine is lighter and faster than ever. The enduro-specific ECU and 5-speed wide ratio transmission deliver increased performance and traction over a wide speed range.

Equipped with a lightweight aluminium chassis, the WR450F feels more compact and agile than ever. Super-slim seamless bodywork and a flatter seat make weight shifting quicker and easier for the highest level of manoeuvrability – and the best-in-class KYB suspension is lowered by 10mm and runs revised settings for increased low speed cornering performance.
