It is with a heavy heart that after years og being a premier Yamaha dealer, Peter Hammond Motorcycles has decided that we are no longer continuing as a Yamaha main dealer. We will however continue as an independent Yamaha specialist, concentrating on the vast back catalogue of bikes that we have been looking after for so many years as well as supplying quality approved used motorcycles.

Unleash race-winning performance with an enduro machine designed to excel in almost any riding conditions. Developed from Yamaha’s Grand Prix winning motocross bike, the WR250F delivers thrilling acceleration and speed to power you to victory – and with this latest evolution’s redesigned chassis, ergonomic and airflow management improvements, this bike is built to conquer high-speed tracks to technical trails.

The WR250F features a cutting-edge cylinder head with a wide intake port and high-performance camshaft with a new low-friction cam chain for rapid mid-to-top power while retaining strong corner-exit torque. An optimised bilateral-beam frame, developed from the YZ250F motocross bike, has been tuned to excel in enduro environments and offers the perfect balance of rigidity for precise feel in all conditions.

The WR250F’s suspension has been revised for 2025 with a 10mm shorter stroke at the front and dropped 10mm overall at the rear, plus new spring rates and damping characteristics for outstanding cornering performance. The flatter and slimmer seat gives the rider even more freedom in the saddle while attacking the toughest terrain while a new lightweight rear wheel with a 3-cross spoke hub and 22mm rear axle raises rider feedback to the next level.
